Today Daddy started teaching me how to play his favorite game, soccer.  Mommy took a video of me in action.  I'm getting faster and better everyday, but Dad says I need to work on my left foot and concentrate more.

Christmas, the New Year, and an update on ME !

Ok ok so I've been a little busy and I haven't written.  What are you gonna do?  I'm 1 year old and I'm too cute to be mad at!  But I do have some updates for all of you. 

First, Christmas was soooo fun.  I love the tree, the stockings, the lights, but I REALLY liked the presents!  Santa brought me lots of great stuff, but he brought me one AWESOME thing... The Kawasaki 4-Wheeler!  WOW!  Here I am on Christmas morning riding it for the first time!  Its so FAST!

I also learned to do a few new things.  I don't think mommy and daddy are really thrilled with them, but they are so much fun, I don't care.  I learned that if I get on the side of the bed and put my foot on the bed rail in just the right place, I can climb right up on mommy and daddy's bed.  Its really high up and I can watch the TV like I'm in a movie theater !

I also learned that Scout is my new best friend.  He likes it when I get in the crates with him.  Its like a little fort in there and I love hanging out with him. 

I have a couple of new words I can say.  The first is "Stink".  If you haven't heard me say this, then you probably haven't smelled anything bad around me.  If I think I smell anything "funny", I'll let you know by saying "STINK" and holding my nose!  I can also say STUCK, which I use regularly when I get stuck between the bed and the chair when I'm trying to climb on the bed.  And I learned to say CHEESE by watching Sesame Street.  Some kids were getting their pictures made and they were saying "CHEEEESE".  And since my daddy is always taking my picture, I thought that would be a useful word to know.

AGS WIN! I'm 2-0 Against the Horns !

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.  The annual tradition of my Texas Aggies against those t.u. longhorns worked out just like i like it yesterday.  The Aggies won 38-30!  Me, Daddy, Sissy & Mommy all watched together on TV while the Aggies whipped up on the horns.  WHOOP!  That makes me undefeated against the longhorns.  Daddy says I'm a good luck charm!  Here I am watching the game, wearing my 12th Man Jersey.  I'm ready just in case the Ags need me to step in and make a tackle.  Gig 'Em!

Happy Halloween from a Little Monkey

I know, I know its almost Thanksgiving, but I've finally had time to show yo my Halloween pictures.  I'm learning lots of new things and I've just been swamped with play time.  Anyway...here I am on Halloween.  My daddy carved up some jack-o-lanterns and mommy got me this awesome costume to wear.  Oh yeah, my buddy Mr. Puffy was a monkey, too !

That'll Do, Maverick...

I wanted to let everyone know, and mark this day as a sad one, that my good friend Maverick passed away today.  My Mommy, Daddy and Sissy are all really sad.  Mavy died from a brain tumor.  He was 12.  We will all miss him.

The New Adventures of Connor Smith
Episode 4:  Summer Vacation

Its been a while since they let me fly a plane, but this week I got to do it again.  This time, we ended up in the sand when we landed. We went to a place called Destin, Florida.  Now I don't know why they named a city after diaper cream, but I guess they had a lot of itchy babies there once.  Or maybe its because all of the sand is as white as a baby's behind.  Either way, it is a GREAT place to go for a summer vacation.  I got to do lots of things I'd never done.  I got to play in the sand, go in the ocean, go down a slide by myself, go see Flipper at his swimming pool house, and oh yeah, fly the plane.  Now I didn't really fly the plane, but they told me if I was good I might get to.  Since I was busy eating puffs the whole way there, and I wasn't that good on the way back, I didn't get to fly it, but I did take a fun ride.  AND, we celebrated my FIRST BIRTHDAY while we were gone.  I got to eat ICE CREAM !!

Episode 3:  A River Runs Through It

I can't count yet, but I do know that it has rained at my house for a LOT of days in a row.  Since May 1st, we've had almost 10 inches of rain.  My dad says that's bad for the fishing and the golf, but its good for kids who want to get outside and splash around a bit.  On Wednesday when my dad got home, he took me out to do just that.  The water was RAGING down our street and I carefully stepped in.  If you've been following, you know we have sponsors for our mower that would not be too happy about the risk I took.  I am not supposed to do anything to jeapordize my contract and ability to cut the grass.  But I said what the heck and jumped right in.  The water was cool, and the concrete slippery.  I didn't care cause I'm so sure footed.  We splashed for about 15 minutes until Mommy came out and got us for dinner.  Photos by you know who...
